Here's a photo of a small blemish on my new 2010 GT 500 steering wheel. Just a little area where the suede material wasn't tucked properly into the wheel and made a very small wrinkle. Does anyone think this will cause a problem down the road? Should I worry about it at all? Cosmetically, it's hardly noticeable, I didn't notice it until it was already installed.
Probably just my OCD that makes me worry about it. Otherwise, wheel is perfect, very luxurious and sporty. I installed this on my base 2011 GT.

I would let it go and enjoy the car. But if you can't enjoy the car knowing then you need to do whatever you can enjoy what you are spending your money on.
Retail is $400, but you can get it from partscheap.com for $300. It's a very nice piece, I've seen the GT premium wheel and it's even better than that one.

I've got the premium wheel and really like it. I think yours is a huge improvement in your car. Good job with it.
How hard was it to install the sterring wheel? I just bought my '11 last week and I am wanting to change out the sterring wheel (I have the deluxe edition).

It is super easy. The GT500 steering wheel comes with the horn
and everything already in place. Once you get the airbag off,
you just have to unplug the wiring harness and remove the big
nut holding the steering wheel on. After you get your wheel off
you just plug in the new harness, put the nut back on, and then
put the airbag back on.
There is a thread that shows how to put the new one on.
