Default HID Lights Advice

The itch has finally gotten to me and I'm pulling the trigger on getting Retro Solution 55W Digital HID bulbs. I'm wondering what color is the best? I was leaning towards 5000k but I heard 6000k is better.

Also, do I need to get anything else?? Whats bulb capping?? Do I need it?

i love my 6ks but its all up to you ... i didnt want anything too "bule" cause honestly i dont feel that it goes with these cars. but if you are worried about light output .. yes the 5k is brighter i guess but my 6k look awesome. they feel brighter than my old car which was a 08 BMW 335 and that had projectors and i 4300 k hids

You know anything about the "capping" option? If I'm going to do it, I might as well do it right.

The capping option will allow your light pattern to scatter more evenly. Definitely make sure you get the bulbs capped. retrosolutions is definitely the way to go. I went with the 5k for the headlights and foglights. the 5k is closer to bright white than the 6k.

Any pics of both 5000k and 6000k? I'm also think about getting the yellow color fog lights...think it will look good? Will definitely get the caps.

I am still thinking of going with 5000K for the headlights and 3000K for the fog lights. Think it will look good?? I figured once I get the fog light relocated in the middle, it would look pretty cool. Anyone what that set up??

Just ordered Retro solution 35W 5000K with bulb capping. I saw a few videos and found the 5000K had just the tint of white/blue I was looking for. Going to have to save up a little more for the 3000K fog light kit, I'm thinking of going with DDM brand for those, since I won't use them as often. I'll be sure to post pics when I get them, I got an email today stating the items shipped.
