good HID kit for my 11?
#21
I have another question.
Brightness and heat are the only differences between 35k and 55k, right? I would like white HID lights, but not necessarily super bright. There has been many times when I would be completely blinded by an incoming car's HID lights. Not even kidding. I could not see the road or anything else in front of me, which is pretty dangerous when it happens on a curvy road with one lane each way, so narrow that two Hummers probably couldn't pass each other. I don't want to do that to others.
And what about the extra heat/voltage? Would they be sustainable over the years? Also, I read somewhere that 55k HID are not "street legal."
Thanks.

jimmy, sounds light you should be good with the 35w kit, believe me they are quite bright as it is, much brighter than halogen. neither 35 or 55w should cause a problem if it is correctly aimed, and all aftermarket xenons are "not street legal" the cops just dont care.
chuck, turn em on and go out like 20ft in front of your car and see if they have a hint of blue, from my experience xenons look pure white when you driving but when you look at it from a distance they appear more blue
