ohh I did the fishing string..but the fishing string cannot go through the studs that are in the trunk lid..also the GT500 spoiler kinda has a lip down on teh back of the trunk lid..so you cant really start the fishing string till you get it cut away enough tthat you can lift the spoiler above the trunk lid cause of that lip

GREAT IDEA! that's the first thing i would do if i had a black GT. It would look real clean with your setup, go for it!

well dropped the spoiler off this morning at the body shop down the street..told him to take his time I am in no hurry..and let him know about the gurny flap to be flat black..He knows I want it perfect

that sucks OP but glad ur getting some kind of $ back ... maybe 3D carbon needs to take better care of their painted parts because i just received my 3D500 spoiler last week and it had one of the corners messed up ... it looks like they touched the end or stood it up on its side before it dried. i waited too long for it so i just threw it on
