You could call 3d Carbon directly and see what's up with the crappy paint. I called them directly to get an ETA and a tracking number. I just told the I ordered from CJ and they supplied all the info.

Latemodel Restoration has it for $189.99 unpainted. How much is it painted from CJ?

I was going to order it but now I will put it on hold

I called and it is currently on the vehicle for delivery. I hope that I don't have any problems.

That is one of the reasons prepainted parts scare me.

This is really odd, they must have a new painter. I have had mine on my car for a couple months now and it was in good condition. i will say this, it has a couple slight places in the paint where the packing material rubbed it. they were mild and when i hit it with the buffer they came right out. i have never seen a paint job leave anywhere that wasn't a high end custom painting without some scratches and blemishes.

You might try a clay bar to see if its just junk stuck in the clear. if it looks like the one 05xrunner had, just send it back. I am thinking the big culprit here is that they aren't packing those things well enough and the scuffs and chips are from shipping. mine was simply wrapped in bubble wrap. they should really use something soft against the spoiler and then wrap with bubble to keep the scratches off. i also wonder if they are sending these things out quickly after paint and maybe it hasn't cured well. i have noticed hoards of people on this site along ordering those things lately so business may have picked up and they are painting and shipping too fast. anyway, the spoiler looks great on the car.

FWIW i have spent thousands with CJ pony parts over the months and they are top notch.

05xrunner's didn't come from DG Custom Auto or CJ's Pony Parts. He got it from a guy on Ebay, which I'm 99% sure wouldn't be getting drop ships from 3dCarbon. So far, you're the only person I can think of that has received a sub-par wing direct from 3dCarbon?

For what it's worth, mine is coming from DG Custom's, whom I haven't read any faults about yet.

Is there any problems with fitment or quality of the spoiler, or is it just paint issues with the prepainted parts, i was about to order one but figured id ask when i saw this.
