Well I received my gt500 spoiler today and couldnt wait to open it. I opened it, and everything seemed to be fine until I really looked at it. The paint is hair thin, and there are scratches/scuffs that look like someone put duct tape on it than peeled it off and the glue was left on (if that makes sense). I went in the garage and grabbed some detailer and it did nothing, I though maybe it was just dirty from the packaging. What do I do? Do I contact cj pony parts or 3dcarbon, and will they send me a new one?

yea i am sure if you contact them about it being defective paint job(CJ)..they should work on getting you a new one..Atleast thats what a good company would do...I am still waiting on mine to be repainted..I dropped it off down the street at the body shop and havnt heard back..i told them to take their time though

Man when I heard your story I PRAYED it wouldnt happen to me, and look what I get stuck with. I ran my nail across it, and it cause a scratch. Just goes to show how thin the paint is.

It has nothing to do with cj pony parts, its 3dcarbon themselves that paints it. I read great things about them, except for lately they seem to be slacking

Exactly how I felt while waiting for mine =/ I wish you luck, maybe you will be one of the luck ones. I just dont understand this **** though, they were getting 5 stars from everyone on here and the last month or so, they just keep getting complaints.

Another member and myself got them in late july, early August, and they looked great. I think something must have happened over there.

I know thats all I read was great reviews about them, and especially the paint quality. Idk what happened but I am sure there are others having the same problem who dont belong to the forum. They must be getting alot of pissed people.
