It will work in a V8 or V6. The only problem with putting it in a 2011 is the RPM redline markings will be in the wrong place since they are higher than both the 2010's and the GT500's ...

do you think it's as important on a auto? even if i get it tuned.

so the best thing to do is get a 2011 on my 2011 ?

tousley ford has the 2010 GT500 cluster for $304 but i wonder if i would be able to get it to work in my car considering its a base

Have you called them to see if they would order it for you? Keep in mind that price does not include the core charge. And even if new it may not be plug and play due to the PATS crap.

your car still has a odo count, even if the cluster goes out or cases like this with a swap.

man if that had roughly 3200miles on it..I would be all over it..I am kinda ehh about the whole mileage thing being off
