I would leave well enough alone. The stock hood is beautiful. Of course, that's just my opinion.

Pushing more air into the top of your engine bay isn't going to do much of anything. Allowing air to pass through the radiator and out of the engine bay will.

lol, to each their own i guess. i like the style, i almost bought the saleen hood a while back and decided to get wheels instead. this looks really good in the pics the guy posted above. that hting woudl look sick with stripes runnign up into it and then over it.

i agree completely. get it!

and there is a benefit of having cooler air forced into the engine bay from the outside.. and when the car is just sitting, it allows some of the hot air to vent out

man i realyl wish i knew if the hood was finished underneath. i wonder how much to paint the thing.

i contacted octane, they said it's fiberglass/FRP and gelcoated on the underside. i have no idea what that means. I assume that means it's finished? I have ths hankeing to run the stripes under the hood and on top so it loosk tied in when the hood is up at shows.
