We're going to add matte black hood spears to our Grabber Blue 2011 V6. I've seen a couple of people put text on the hood spears, like 3.7L, 305HP and Mustang. We were thinking of something different: 227 cu in, like the old 60's Ford Grand National cars had. Of course, they had 427 cu in. Unfortuately, I can't post a picture, so I hope you get what we mean.

I think it will look good. I have the same on my 2010 GT.
If you go to Bob Whites decals web site. Look at 10/11 section
On the second page, half way down is a white GT with 281 in the
cowel stripe. Thats my car.

Sounds like a good idea. Can't imagine it looking bad and it would be differnt from the usual.

Bob White Decals is where we will probably buy them. We're considering the hood spears and the C stripes. He said he could make the C stripes without any lettering.
