got some L stripes - pics

The stripes look great on both cars. I love the raised white letter treatment. As an old guy who was around during the muscle car era I always loved that look and miss it now. I wonder when the tire companies will realize there are people who would love to buy that kind of tire. Great work guys! Thanks for the tip on the pen ACE.
+3 works for me

I use this marker, it lasts really long, is easy to put on, and is water/heat resistant, also it is really cheap.

Just be patient when you put it on, I put a light first coat just to cover the raised webbing of the lettering, then I let it dry 15 minutes or so and came back out and put a thick new coat to make the letters smooth. I did this with the tires on the car, just be careful not to mess up, this stuff is really hard to get off. I messed up a few times on the second coat, so I bought a Black version of the marker and just painted over the white with it.
Best of luck.

Did one stick/pen do all 4 tires? or did it take more than one? I will have to goto Hobby Lobby and pick some up. I am going back to the stock wheels this weekend and the white letters would look awesome. Also, what kind of prep did you do for the tires? And when you clean the car, what type of care do you take with the white letters?
