Rear Camera
#11
I think it's most useful for a convertible where the small rear window gives you a big blind spot. It makes parallel parking in tight space much easier. I've found adding one after market can be difficult to do cleanly. I remember a lot of people pulled out the trunk lock cylinder and put it there but now they've eliminated that, and you can only pop the trunk with the fob.

My wife has one on her SUV on the navigation screen, originally I thought it was a gimmic but now I love it. It's easier to use than mirrors, and eliminates the over-the-shoulder-neck-twist-to-make-sure-nothing-is-back-there move when backing up. Wish i had one in my Mustang, but don't have the Nav system and don't like the spoiler setup. Maybe someday when I upgrade the radio... and I find a better place to mount the pinhole camera.

That's where I mounted my camera as well. a perfect place and you can barely see it (at least on a black car). I did a Ford rearview mirror with LCD screen retrofit, but will probably use the nav screen when I put in a head unit with NAV.
