Painted prepped and Installed my new Steeda front Splitter. Then decided to tweak it and stiffen it with some 5 star support rods. This is pictured with my winter wheels and tires as well... I feel the Splitter compliments the Roush concept hood exceptionally well.

And while I was at it... I replaced the front amber marker lights with white ones. for a MORE unique look. Then added some UPR hood pins with black anodized plates for contrast.

In fact the the front markers looked so good I decided to also have my rear marker lights custom fabricated in white to replace the former red ones.... Now I know few if any 2011-2014's have their rears ones in white.

I have yet to install the side splitters and the rear quarter sides and rear diffuser splitters I fabricated. Waiting for a break in the cold weather.

Then I swapped the bulbs in the front for Amber LED's

And the rear bulbs for red LED's

When the weather is warmer then I'll lower my air-ride and slam it when there isn't all the crud on the ground.

For now...I feel the look is unique enough to not be just another cookie cutter of " seen it, been there, done that"... While remaining aerodynamically functional and enhancing handling performance with all the Body additions and yet...still not screaming... WHITE RICE right here LOOK AT ME! Subdued and tasteful....at least in my eyes this is the case.

And really that's all that matters. Isn't it???

Thanks... Before I do any visual mods I typically ask myself "will this have a functional purpose?" Aside from the marker lights, although they do function as per the OEM's. The visual mods i tend to aim for need to have a purpose that offers a functional improvement. So I don't think side scoops or quarter louvers will ever fit the bill for me... they can look good, but knowing how the vehicle really works aerodynamically... I just sort of always say "Why?" when I see those on another Mustang, since my mind just keeps saying that logically only adds more unnecessary drag. If I'm going to add drag then it at least should have a functional purpose when I hit Hwy speeds to help plant the vehicle and improve handling or performance like a functional ram scoop. Just the way I feel about it. Besides if I can say this will improve the vehicle's performance...its easy to get the wife to say go for it. Other wise, she's just as practical and will say then why do it?

In life form should always follow function. Don't ya think?
