Default 2010 GT shakes When Tires Break Loose

I have a 2010 Mustang GT that has been a kick in the pants to drive. But nearly every time I break the tires loose while accelerating, the rear end starts shaking until I get off the gas. This can't be normal. Has anybody else experienced this and what can be done??

its called wheel hop..it happens cause of the softer rubber bushings in the control arms allow the axle to twist and not plant..get some tubular lower control arms and it will help rid most of it..Yes this is a normal thing to happen on stock cars.

Wheel hop happens and it can be very dangerous for your car.. As 05xrunner said, some better LCAs will help, or you can get a 3rd link reduction for about the same price, maybe a little cheaper and it will eliminate most of that.. Whatever you do, don't stay on the throttle once you feel wheel hope, you can destroy your rear end pretty quick..

Thanks for the info. It's frustrating that they didn't fix this issue at Ford since I'm sure they know it's pretty easy to burn out in these things.
I see Rousch sells the 3rd reduction kit for $260. Does anybody else sell these-hopefully cheaper?

I have the UPR LCAs on my car and it doesn't hop at all. The lowers are $117/pair with the MF discount, and all three arms are $179 with the MF discount. Our arms are Made in America, they carry a Lifetime Guarantee, and they work REALLY well! Our 2010 GT runs 9s in the quarter mile on these arms.

How do I get the "MF" discount?
