This was exactly the thread i was looking for becuase i want to do the same thing but couldnt find any pictures with our rim style. Thanks to you sir this weekend is now planned! What did you do to prep the wheel besides clean it. anything?

Used car wash soap and DRIED THOROUGHLY! I think I had 1 droplet of water on one of the corner that I somehow missed and now the plastidip in that corner's loose. It's like a small air pocket, you can poke at it, but it stays intact.

Looks Good! Does washing the rims or emblems effect the finish after they are fully dry?

I've gone through 2 washes using mitts on the rims and they still look the same.

How difficult is it to clean? I've seen plasti dipped parts and the surface seemed rough and a bit sticky.

Regular car wash soap and soft cloth or you can just hose it down. It's not like it's powered coated wheels where you have to pay extra attention in making it immaculate and shiny. All you really want to do is get the dirt off.
