Default 19" or 20" wheels

I know it is all personal preference but just wanted to get some opinions. First of all I have a black GT premium. I was looking at the 20" bullitt wheel and tire package from american muscle. I also liked the blacked out look but now I am thinking I would like a little contrast. I am only going to be upgrading to springs for lowering as of right now. If someone could post some pics or show me link to some older posts that may help. Thanks

Also forgot to add it is my primary vehicle although have a company car so don't put too many miles on it. How much is doing the staggered set up going to kill the life of the tires?

Personally I wouldn't go any bigger than 19's. Get any bigger and it gets to looking more like a hooptie than a muscle car. There are a few Mustangs that can pull of the 20" look but not many.

This is my car with staggard 18's, lowered with FRPP K springs and Tokico D-Specs. I went with staggard because it's not my DD and only put maybe 200 miles a month on the car.

My choice for you would be 20's...some folks say that 20's are too big for a Mustang...if the Camaro SS's run 20's stock, why can't the Mustangs? Do it!!!

Very true ! I do like the sve wheels a lot. I looked at AMR but prefer a flat black wheel. urio from late model restoration can u add the TPMS sensors ahead of time and have them shipped that way ?

whichever you prefer. keep in mind NEITHER size is very cheap for tire costs.

you can pull off 20s with the right tires and the right suspension. 19s are less risky.

I went with 20s in the rear 19s in the front.. Im thinking ill get a slightly larger overal height rear tire to make it not look wierd

255 40 19's front(27.1 total height) 295 35 20's rear (28.1 total height)

hopeing this will give no negative performance or ABS/ traction control issues.. anyone know for sure if it would or wont?

I don't think you can. But email them and they might be able to work something out with you. They have amazing Custemer service. My tires on my car were still brand new so I just put them on my rims
