mine were pretty tight too when i put them in the right way. but impossible to make it 'klick' when turned wrong.
i like the looks but they aren't really usable as fog lights anymore. nice and bright but don't throw the light really far

I think driving only with them and without the headlights would be pretty dark at night. Haven't tested it though as I can't turn them on when my headlights are off ... not yet

They're not designed for performance, but for looks. I use mine in the evening (not too dark, just fogs + parking lights), and sometimes when it's rainy/cloudy during the day.

I didn't think halogen fogs helped that much anyway...

That's right. They weren't as good as I'm used from European cars. And as soon as you convert to (or have) HIDs the fogs are only for looks anyway

Tinted fogs; too bright

second layer just right, but now, according to my wife it looks like a space ship. (head lights tinted as well with OE hid's) Not what you were really asking, but o-well.
