Default GT500 spoiler on 2012 v6

One of the most nerve racking things I have done, drilling holes in my new 2012 black mustang V6. I bought a GT500 style spoiler off of ebay it seemed to fit pretty well when I was sizing it up, it also had a weather strip type seal all the way around. The directions were pretty straight forward and simple but damn its so hard to drill that first hole! I started drilling and then bam! The drill bit broke, WTF??? At least the major damage was on my finger. I drilled the rest (4 total) and lined up the spoiler. One hole was slightly off so I made it a little bigger so the screw fit right in. There cannot be any preasure from one screw or it warps the spoiler. I must say after sweating my *** off it does look good! For everyone out there don't forget to breath.

Lol.
I just put the same spoiler on my 2013 and had to drill holes.
My boss came out as I was doing it, and you should have seen the look on his face....
as he shockingly said "you're drilling holes in your new car!!!! I couldn't do that"...priceless

Its a little different and its $199 painted so it adds up to a really good looking spoiler to me.

Yep! Mine was $290 painted and shipped from 3dCarbon so you saved almost $100!
