Default 19" or 20" rims on lowered setup, pics?

Hey everybody i need opinions and pictures. I have a 2010 gt convertible and right now i have stock 18s on and the car is not lowered although i am going to be ordering Steeda sport springs, shocks/struts, adj. LCA, and UCA's. The drop im going to get is about 1" in front and 1.25" in rear.

My question is, is that i want to get either chrome 19 or 20" rims but i dont want the tire to rub with a lowered setup. not only that, but i DONT want the tire to look "tucked" under the wheel well, i hate that look. I want a small gap showing, enough to show alot of rim, and so you could tell the car has been lowered.

i cant find any threads on this at all, does anybody have a car thats been lowered and is running 19s or 20s? what are your thoughts?

i need to figure this out, its killing me! pics would be great right now, thanks everybody!
PS, also any suggestions on rims would be helpful as well, but im leaning towards bullitt's or gt500 style.

Suscribed! Sorry that I can't help, it's just something I'm really interested in checking out since I also plan on outting 20s on mine in the future.

i'd suggest 19s over 20s, i've got the brembo pack 19s n i think it'd look great dropped

actually planning that for mine soon hopefully. shouldnt be a problem with tucking if your only dropping that much, you can tell that mine def needs to be dropped a bit.

I just got 20's on mine and lowered using the Eibach prokit,i got about an inch up front and an inch and a half in the rear.I had stock 19's.I don't know if things changed in the last year or so but when I got my car last year,19 inch wheel options were pretty limited.
I was on the fence for some time on making my decision.I wasn't sure how I felt about losing the taller sidewall.Seems 20's are a little short on the sidewall. In the end,I am very happy with my choice.

Nope, stock suspension. If I were to drop the car, it would be after getting new wheels. The car scratches everything as it is, it would be a pain to scratch even more if I were to lower it at this moment.

thnx man, i went with the brembo pack cuz they looked great and were decently priced takeoffs

pretty much any 19s that fit the mustang everybody already knows about.
other set i was considering was the black machined gt500s

i was originally gonna get some tenzoR DC5s on sale but something bout the center hub being weird and doesnt fit on mustangs
