Default White Widebody GT500

Read about it here: White Widebody GT500

Galpin Auto Sports are responsible for this one. We think it actually looks pretty good in white. It's actually not that different from the car they had last year. That one was just doing a little bit too much. You can get details in the link above, or just jump to the gallery here.

I just see no reason for the porch step on the side.....maybe so short people can clean the top and windows......but not for me. They do put out good quality even if the style is not in it for me.

I like it it looks bad to the bone. I could do without the scoop on the top of the rear quarter panel. Wide body race cars were what was racing in IMSA back in the early 80s so you youngens can't appreciate those crazy modified production cars that raced back then. They did not have the kind of rules they have today to slow everything down racers were inventors experimentors. There was a Corvette with the trans in the back in the late 70s 40 years before GM did it. Many of those cars had aluminum big block motors 400 plus cubes some making 800 hp they needed the biggest tires they could fit. Some of us remember those cars bit of a Walter Mitty moment to think you could drive one now.
