That was your first car?! That's sick! You should definitely make your current one look similar. Car looks great, keep it up!

The 'Stang looks amazingly clean! Definitely love that you're paying homage to the '73, which looks awesome too! Do you still own that car by the way?

Ah the Mach1. When I bought that car (for $3k) it looked NOTHING like that. It was black (mostly) with a primer rear 1/4 panel and had been rear ended slightly.

Since I had no money, my dad helped me out at the time doing stuff to it, and I would pay him back. I ended up having the 351C rebuilt; replaced the FMX trans with a C6 after 3 unsuccessful rebuilds by the mechanic; and painted the car along with the interior. I wish I had more pictures of it. It was a fun car. Only ran a 14.8 in the 1/4 mile, but at the time it felt like the fastest car out there. I was know at school as "the guy with the car."

Another interesting thing...when I bought the Mach1, it had side exit cherry-bomb (white trash) exhaust (one side of which I re-secured with a coat hanger). I replaced them, but always loved the sound of side exit exhuast when you stomped on it. Well, a few weeks ago I put on the Boss 302 side exit exhuast.

Anywho, I couldn't afford to keep fixing the Mach1, so I sold it. Think it went for around $13k.

Just added the newer pics with the blacked-out roof, red calipers, and the 1.5" drop Ford springs as opposed to the 1" I used to have.

Tastefully done....nice work! The Boss hood decal adds a nice touch.

I think the roof panel blacked out would look good.

First off, awesome job man! You've inspired me to make similar mods to my silver GT. I have a question though, where can I find that outer grill that houses the grill itself? I've been looking everywhere and can't seem to locate it.
