I saw that you are shooting with a Canon EOS Rebel T2i which is a great DSLR! I have a Canon 60D myself and have been into photography for about 6 months - enthusiast here, no professional.

Learn the basics from YouTube videos on stuff like aperture, shutter speed, ISO speed, and metering to get a properly exposed photo and then get creative with composing your shot to make it interesting for the viewer. Lastly, editing your photos to perfection in your vision - there's really no wrong way to take pictures, just popular opinions. Find your style, and have fun!
