Default TSS radio phone mount

I bought the following phone mount for my 2011 shelby gt500 with the electronics package

I bought this because i didnt like the location of the proclip mount i had before:

I went to install the TSS radio mount and not only did it not fit correctly but it covered one of the holes for the radio cover. See image below:

So used my drill, dremel, and hacksaw and got it to fit correctly.

Anyone buying this mount should be wary that it does not fit correctly.

That must be a custom install, I have heard of individual car audio install shops making their own kits and using the stock, or other aftermarket parts to do it. Probably fiberglass with the stock parts bolted in, notice the cd slot?
To fit the radio that high you would have to take apart pieces inside the dash, either cut or unbolt I am not sure, but that would be fairly permanent so changing it back if you ever needed to would be tough to do.
Hope that helps.

Damn, I knew the answer was going to be bad knowing all that hardware behind the radio is high.
