Default Anybody else have paint peeling on steering wheel controls?

I have lots of spots where the lights are shining through where they shouldn't. The weird part is that it's only on the cruise control buttons, which don't get nearly as much use as the radio controls.

It's impossible to get a good pic with my cell phone so this is the best I could do. It's much worse than just the spot on the upper left, but that's the only spot that shows up in the pic.

The paint has started wearing off on mine too. I've been wondering if it would be covered under warranty. At 1.5 years old and 20000 miles by the time I trade all the writing will be rubbed off and I will have no idea if I'm setting the cruise or turning up the radio.

Mine is also 1.5 years old with 19,000 miles. The peeling is in more spots on mine. It is interesting that the worst of it is in the same place though.

Get that **** replaced under warranty while you can! They replaced my peeling steering wheel emblem under warranty, so I see no reason this wouldn't be covered too.

My radio buttons started peeling just outside of warranty. It looked so ****ty, I sanded down the buttons and just painted them flat black. Can't wait to get a new head unit.

Whoa! You guys have sand paper hands or what?! Jk. I've had my GT500 wheel on for a year now with no problems at all. I agree with the others, get it replaced while it's still under warranty!

I have the same issue. It seems we are rubbing the paint of the controls.
