Mattt-

I tried to send you a PM, but it didn't work. New to this forum, but been fine tuning my Mustang for a couple of years. I wanted to see what you did with the hook up, but your image is no longer active. Internet cookies for posting it again?

My current situation:

Bought a 2013 tail light to see if I would like it.
Didn't come with the wire, so it is just the lamp.
Decided I liked it, but haven't seen it lit up.
Ordered the other light, which comes with the pigtail.
I bought a new wiring harness to set it up, thinking this had the big tail- it did not.
So now I have a 2013 tail light harness, which is valueless to me, a 2013 tail light that won't hook up, and a new 2013 tail light on it's way, that won't hook up when it gets here.

So I am very frustrated, and not happy that so many sites said it was plug and play, when it is not. Specifically, like here: http://www.stangtv.com/tech-stories/...to-13-14-spec/

Anyway, until I write a starting here thread, a lot of my work is on Ecomodder under UltArc, and my quarter baked website, www.aerostang.com.

Look forward to hearing back, sir.

Has anyone had any success with this?

Matt, would you mind showing me your setup? I've done a LOT of searching, and this was the first (and only) thread I found about a work around. I saw these shots:

But didn't see a setup for getting it together. I would start experimenting, but haven't gotten my full tail light yet. Hopefully I can get a head start with your help!

Sorry for the delay, I saw your PM but couldnt respond due to your post count. There are two different versions of the taillights; the USA version and the EU version. The first set of taillights I bought were the EU version which is why my pigtails were not plug in and play. After I realized that I had the wrong ones I ended up getting a set of USA lights and they worked just fine. If you need a set of light pigtails I have an extra set I bought while trying to figure out what the problem was. If you need just the pigtails let me know and we can work something out.

So now you're saying there is a version that IS plug and play? You should link to them and modify your original post to avoid confusion.

Well I did come on here and correct myself in another thread (https://mustangforums.com/forum/2010...-and-play.html), and yes there is a version that is plug in and play. The USA version that come in red amber lenses are plug in and play. The EU version that have gray/clear lenses are NOT plug in and play.
