So ive got a 2013 GT/CS with the silver hood and side stripes that i never really cared for. (bought car off the lot, not ordered)


I have been toying around with the idea of removing the stripes and putting others on to suit my taste better.

SO wile bored this afternoon i was playing around in Forza Motorsport 4 on my xbox and came up with this:

Obviously i dont have a GT500 but it was the closest to my actual car as i could get (they have a '13 Boss but you cant get the stripes off it)

What are your thoughts on the green fender stripes?
Also been toying with the idea of matte black striping as well on my gloss black car.

I wouldn't personally do the fender stripes.. I would however do the matte black or a dark grey would be even better I think..

I had fender stripes (pit stripes) on my GT and loved them. Black on a white car. Lots of people seemed to like them.

I like it! Nice green contrast to the black. Kinda like the Monster drift car or the RTR stuffs

I'd say the matte black would look really sharp, very stealthy and subtle, but if you want some more pop, go green. Best part about vinyl, if you don't like it/get bored you peel it off!

I dot like the fender stripes either. I see a bunch of dodge neons around here that sport. That's enough for me to be turned off by them. Matte black stripes are sick. That green doesn't look too bad either. Certainly stands out. So I guess it depends what you want. Matte would be subtle and green to draw some attention to the car.

Dodges are knownfor their pit stripes, but mainly with the corvette grand sports from back in the day. I'm not a huge fan of them.

I love the 'lemans' / hash mark style stripes like that, and that color really pops on black.

it's a little bold, but I dig it! I say go for it. it will be unique.

Yeah i think im gonna do the green. I posted the same thing on my facebook wall and the majority said dont. but i need some colour on an otherwise (to be) blacked out car. My previous car was a white Mazda 3 hatch and i painted the winter wheels bright green, most people didnt like it, but i loved it.
