Cool Louvres (side cowls) for my Mustang

So, I want to know what has been the experience with these from members. I am thinking of adding the Eleanor side cowls (louvres) to my car. On american muscle.com they show a video in which they use a 3M composite and tape to glue them in. Are this ok? How much work do they take?

I would imagine these glue to the glass. Can anyone give me some feedback on thiese items?

Kind regards.

We've had great results from all of our louvers. We take a lot of pride in this particular product, because they're all Pre-Painted in house before ship out!

The install should only take a few minutes, as you already mentioned they're held on by 3M tape. I know that may sound iffy because it's just tape, but the 3M tape we include is extremely sticky and will not come off at high speeds, extreme sun light etc..

I hope this helps! I look forward to hearing about some experiences from your Customers and Friends on this forum.

Thanks for the clarification....I am thinking of purchasing them from you..One question: do they adhere to the body of the car or the glass? Thanks

How well does the tape hold up in the cold? My car is kept outside and stored in an unheated garage in the winter.

Thanks,
Chris

They adhere to the body. Mine have been on for about 3 months. They fell like part of the car. I have had them out in the cold and freezing rain. No change in how they feel. I will say to be sure that you attach them in temperatures above 60 and let them sit at least 24 hrs. I got my scoops from american muscle.

I have a set (and side scoops) of MMD eleanors that have been on over 6 months now and do just fine. I drive most of the time on the freeway at or above the speed limit and have had no problems. Rememer that 3M automotive tape is what is also holding on any badges you may have on your car so it's long proven.

You can see the eleanors and side scoops in my sig
