Caliper Painting
Okay guys just got the wheels on the car and you can see the brakes alot more gotta do something with them. Since i dont have the funds to upgrade them, I am thinking about painting them. I am thinking about painting the caliper and the caliper bracket two different colors. Do you guy think this would look ok and if so what colors? Or should i just do one solid color??

I would stick with a solid color instead of going multi color
prefacing my comment with : it's your car, please do what will make you happy, build it for you and not for others.
I feel like painting calipers a vibrant color is drawing attention to them, and when they are not big brakes, it looks kind of cheesey and poser'ish. not nearly as bad as 'caliper covers', though. if I had regular brakes I would stick with neutral colors, silver, grey, black, something that wouldn't stand out too much.
whatever floats your boat though. I can see how a non theme color would make em pop, hell it's what I did.

My buddy painted his calipers and rotors before. My suggestion to u would be to paint your rotors and drive it a little with some old break bads. When u push the breaks the paint on the rotors will get all over ur pads. When u drive a little and rub off all the paint it will leave a nice thin line all around the edge of the rotor. What ever color u choose make sure its bright to help it stand out.

I'm not so sure it's a good idea to bring a lot of attention to non brembo calipers as they aren't the best looking things out there. Plus one on what Entaille said (paint them a neutral color like black or silver).

Here is what I'm doing. I purchased a take off set of Brembo brakes from a GT500. The original brembos are black, I want them red. The rotors are rust and gray primer. I plan on masking the rotor braking surface, then glass bead blasting the primer off. I have high temp primer and satin black paint for the rotor hat. Then, I've disassembled the calipers and plugged all of the holes to prevent abrasives from entering the hydraulic ports. I'll glass bead blast to remove the old brembo black color, then paint them red, and add back the brembo stickers.

Nothing wrong with painting stock calipers. Some guys are so crazy about their things being the only things worth seeing. Paint them & have fun with it.
I always think if the brackets are black, then the calipers whatever color you want it gives separation for the eyes when someone glances at them.
I went with powder coating. They will always look good & clean off with a dry rag. The color wont degrade over the years like caliper paint wil.
