Default Powder Coated My Brembo Wheels Flat Black

So I decided to give my wheels a face lift. They had some pretty nasty curb rash on them and I wanted to go with a blacked out look. A local shop here in San Diego charged me $60 per wheel which included fixing the rash and the powder coating (flat black). IMO they came out very nice. Can't see the curb rash anymore! I think it's a nice route to go if you don't want to fork out a lot of money on after market wheels.

Edit/Update: Shop had a 1 day turn around. Dropped it off on tuesday. Picked it up on Wednesday. =D

Nice, I saw this on a red mustang in my area and thought I might want to try the same. Maybe just do that until I feel like shelling out more cash on the AMRs or something. I have the sterling gray metallic and thought a matte black wheel might look nice. And yes, I have the brembos too.

Looks good! As long as you're happy with it and the curb rash is fixed, sounds like a win-win in my book! Those are one of the best looking factory Mustang wheels out there too.

Looks great. I wanted to go this route but seemed like it would be too much hassel. $60 a wheel with rash fixing sounds like a good deal to me.

I like the look a lot. I may have to consider this when I swap my winter tires onto the stock brembo wheels this summer.

After a freak snow storm and a tête-à-tête between my passenger-side front wheel and the curb, I am considering this as a road to recovery.

Well then a heads up to people that want to go this route. I'm going to have my flawless 2000 mile old brembo wheels with oem Pirelli PZero up for sale in the hear future.

Hey Thanks for all the input guys. @ Vossen. My thought process exactly. It was a win win. Couldn't decide on the flat black or a semi gloss; just knew i didn't want a full gloss black (don't like how it looks, saw 1 at the ford dealership). I'm very happy with the flat though....
