Sypder HID projectors and AM grill overlays
I decided to wrap up the spring mods with some new lights and a grill.
The headlights are Spyder Auto projectors that come with a 35w HID kit preinstalled. I went with the 4300K kit. The beam output and cut off are above average for a PnP projector kit, not as sharp as your higher end $$$ projectors but still nice IMO. One of my ballast was flickering a bit our of the box so I order a replacement. It was only around $10 from ebay. I guess time will tell how this cheap hid kit will hold up. The cut off prism is gorgeous, I'll try to get a video off it.
The AM pony delete overlays went on like butter and look great.
So I think I'm done for a while with the mods. This is my first spring doing any serious modding since I got the car other than the GT takeoff.
JLT intake
SCT/BAMA tuner
Dynomax duals
Saleen short shifter block(Highly recommended BTW)
Prothane shifter bushings
M2 headers
AM grills
Spyder HID projectors

I have that exact same setup with the Spyder CCFL HID's and the 4300 K bulbs. These Spyder headlights far and away surpass all the other aftermarket "brands" in quality (which are all made by eagle eyes I have found). However the only thing is I'm not finding that this 35 watt ballast system is bright enough at night on dark back roads so I'm wondering does anyone think 55 watt ballasts would melt these spyder housings? Has anyone used 55w ballasts in an aftermarket HID projector headlight, specifically? (i.e., NOT talking about non-hid stock setups with mickey mouse hid conversions please)
