My 2012 Kona Blue V6 Premium
#11
Just slapped on this minor appearance mod this morning. I'm waiting to purchase the '13+ tail lights and thought this was a nice inexpensive alternative for the time being.
+more pics!
super shiny!

In the past few weeks, I've transformed my car just a wee bit more. I was planning on holding off on converting to the GT front end but I stumbled upon a STEAL for $240 on the entire set up!! It was in great condition so I couldn't pass it up. I added side stripes to compliment my rally's, too. Tackled the application myself and it was a little difficult but not as bad as I expected. Accidentally opened the door at some point before slicing the breaks lol
Also decided to go with the Eleanor grille. I really like the look of this one except that it doesn't retain that "masked" look where the top of the fogs are partially covered, even though 3D Carbon's pictures suggested so. I'll probably find a way to accomplish that, but if anyone has suggestions I'd love to hear 'em!
I also replaced my pypes with Borla ATAKs and they sound WAY better, although going from the Pypes to the Borlas, I'm surprised the decibel level dropped so much. But the pypes just sounded a bit too "ricey" for me, howling instead of growling, along with all the other problems about them. Loving the new looks and sounds! I've got shorty headers in my garage waiting to be installed and I'm still planning on a new chin, spoiler, and some rear window louvers but they will have to wait!
and for anyone wondering about the white lettering on the tires, they're actually holding up pretty damn well, aside from where I hit a curb when parallel parking (d'oh!). when they're looking a little greasy and dirty, I just use some tire cleaner to get it off and it works just fine!
