11/12 GT front end on a 13/14
#13
It would be the best of both model years. The 2011/12 front end looks much better than the 2013/14 front IMHO. And the 2013/14 Rear looks far better than the 2011/12 rear.
The later model front end and hoods no longer provide a real distinction between any of the package trim options either. Which was what was so cool about the 2011/12's... There was a type of front end that set the GT's apart from the CS, Boss and Shelby trim. for 2012/13 you see the same basic front and rear now and need to find the badges while trying not to look so creepy as you're walking around and really oggling someone's stang to determine what trim it is?
So I think the OP has a very novel idea and in concept pretty cool too. It will provide a unique look that is custom yet not screaming for attention.
Get er done.

MAGUS 302
Ah... yeah, I get your point on performance mods. And yeah... I'm as crazy as you! Heck check out my 2013 GT. I completely rebadged the entire thing as a "Magus 302" with a new hood and a custom decklid. So yeah... I do CRAZY things too!
I just saw your Magus 302 crossing Lake Mead Blvd today. Nice looking car, wish I had my '13 Boss 302 out for a ride.
