Default How much would you pay for a GT hood?

Hey guys I met a guy at a local car show that put an aftermarket hood on his white GT. I have a white v6 and asked him if he would be willing to sell his hood. He said ya but said he wanted 350. He said there were 3 chips in the front. I would assume they are small chips and i am getting the pics tonight. But with that being said how much would you pay for a used GT hood?

Also will it fit on a v6? I plan to get the upper grill also. Will all this fit?

No idea on fitment but my local CL has one listed for $200 in like new condition. White with chips? $150.

I'd personally say between $150-$200.

Providing that Ford want over a Grand for the OEM hood, $350 isn't a bad price.
For the chips it's no biggy since you'll have to repaint unless you guys share the same color...

+1 on that sounds like a fair price. You can deal with chips...what you don't want are dings and dents or any sign of rust at the welds along the edges.

$350 is a fair price, even with chips in the paint.

I'm assuming you have a 2013/14. As long as the seller's car is a 13/14, the hood will fit.

It shouldn't cost too much to have a body shop repair the chips.
