Hoods
I recently had some hail damage to my hood and was considering replacing it with the Cervini Type IV. Anyone have any experience with that model? How much did the total bill cost when it was all said and done(hood, prep, paint)?

If you're on Facebook you might want to ask on Mustang of America - official group page. A lot of people go on there and I've seen a few with that hood.
I was in the same situation and just got my car back with a BMC hood. I ended up paying $1,300 out of pocket by the time everything was done with SHR louvers installed as well. The estimate was originally $2,100.
The brand you're looking at is supposed to be really good with quality, though. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Cervini is the best quality and fit pretty much.
They have a lot of gelcoat and that's the key when it comes to fiberglass, almost no blocking involved for the body man so you save money on labor.
I've done a few type IV for the 05/09 cars and the paint ran about $600, which is cheap.
Oh and yes, fiberglass is heavier than aluminum and even metal depending on the build...

I ordered the Cervini Type 4, painted black, with the Ram Air Cold Air Intake Combo for a total of $1286.97 (Cervini offers 10% off if you buy two items).
Order was placed on April 11, still waiting on it. As soon as it comes in, I'll put up pics and let you know how it works out
