Thanks! I wouldn't mind having blue stitched leather

Roush grille is up next as soon as I save up a little $.

I'm also thinking of replacing the fender ponies with gloss black 3.7 emblems and painting the dot to match the stripes. Give it a little touch of blue on the sides.

I really like the black/grabber blue color combo! Looks great together. The only thing that I would do is also stripe the front bumper. It looks kind of funny in the mustang customizer without the stripe going down the front. Just my .02. Looking forward to the finished product.

I'm kind of on the fence about that. Factory SS stripe on my '10 stopped at the hood. Can always put it on bumper to bumper and remove a section if I'm not digging it.

So I looked at some more '12 vs. '13 mustangs with stripes. The '10-'12 body style looks good when stopping at the end of the hood. I think this is because there is no painted arch over the grill. I think because you have the '13 it would look good if you stripe over the painted arch in the grill. That looks to me like a better stopping point than the end of the hood. I don't think that the bumper itself needs to be done. In any case, the colors are great and it is just personal preference for what you like.

Maybe I mis-spoke. I meant I would stripe the arch as well, just not down where the license plate is. It's an extra 3 inches or so of stripe-able space "on top" after the hood gap. Sorry for the confusion. Not sure if the stripe on the Customizer can hit that arch, but the stripe kit I'm ordering has a small piece for there. Plus MD requires a front plate so 80% would be covered if I put a piece there.

TL DR: Just like the pic in post # 1 except for license plate area.

*Quick update: Buying a new house so funds are limited at the moment. Hope to pick up the Roush grille soon!

I saw a factory-striped model on the road the other day. Stripe does not extend onto the bumper arch.

It does seem a little "off" not having it extend another couple inches.

What's the general opinion of fender stripes? My clueless neighbor scratched my fender probably while juggling her kid/keys. Buffed out a little with ScratchX, but the light hits it right and they show. B!tch. Rather than OTT stripes, maybe GB or darker fender stripes?

Like the shade of blue AM offers. http://m.americanmuscle.com/blue-hash-stripes-0512.html

Plus they're cheap enough to try and trash if I don't like em.

Edit: Nvmd. Scratches are farther back than I remembered. Hash marks wouldn't work. Guess I'll just take a polisher to em and hope for the best. They're pretty light.
