Default 2014 convertible top

Hey I had a question about the 14 convertible top? does anyone have issues when closing the top? I recently was looking at one and the dealer said it was normal. I actually had to work very hard to close it by moving it around quite a bit, shaking it and using quite a bit of force to get it to fall into place. The convertible I have,2007 has never, even brand new had any issues closing at all. it always fell right into place a firm pull down and just latch the latches. He told me that the weekend before it was used in a parade, it made me wonder if someone had sat on the top and bent some of the parts inside. they even brought another one over and it did exactly the same thing. Not sure if the salesman was being shifty. Anyone else have issues with their 2014 not latching quite right without alot of work?
BTW wasnt sure where to put this in the forum since it wasnt a drive train issue.
thanks

No issues on my '13 whatsoever.

sometimes it might not be fully extended to it's closed position. might want to check that.

No issues with mine. Just hold the button until it's closed all the way, then use the center handle to pull it down the extra half inch that the motor doesn't cover.
