Default What are the odds?

Hey guys!
So I ran into a situation where I had to part ways with my '14 GT "Pirulentium". Luckily after a few months, I was back in the market. So I go looking for a new ride and look what I luck out on! "Mearc"

--------------------------"Pirulentium"------------------------------------------------------------------------"Mearc"--------------------------

--------------------------"Pirulentium"------------------------------------------------------------------------"Mearc"--------------------------

--------------------------"Pirulentium"------------------------------------------------------------------------"Mearc"--------------------------

So obvious differences are that Mearc has Roush Grille and splitter and Pirulentium had stock splitter and AM.com grille. Mearc has Boss gloss black rims and flat black wrap on hood/roof/trunk while Pirulentium had BBP rims and flat black stripes only. Mearc has 20,000 more miles and is a year older but has a Boss IM. Mearc is AT while Pirulentium was MT.

While I admit the MT was a much more fun driving experience, the AT has been convenient in my stop and go DD. Plus, the wife is comfortable taking the AT in a pinch (If I need the F150 for some reason) where she wouldn't drive the MT.

A combination of FRPP tune/TQ loss from IM/AT leaves the butt dyno saying the MT was a faster ride but I know better. I think they'd be evenly matched atm since the MT had a tune/complete suspension but once I get those two things complete on the new car, I'm confident I won't be disappointed. This car pushes smoothly from 0-130mph without letting up. It could just do it faster

Sofar I'm very happy with the new purchase, and the potential it has.

Looks nice, funny how it almost looks like maybe what your original car would/could have been modified to by you if you'd kept it a little longer... I have been toying with the idea of getting the hood on my SGM wrapped in Matte black for a while now, but haven't really found a place here in INDY to ask about it. Also worried that if it gets chipped, I'd see the grey through the black vinyl. Yours is the first one I've seen a photo of.

The vinyl wrap is a pro job and it shows. Not a single bubble or imperfection. The molding was pulled and the vinyl was tucked under before replacing the molding. I'm pretty meticulous in my detailing and it actually cuts my time down by about 30% as you don't have to worry about damaging the vinyl like you do the paint. Even with waxing and such, you can't work the vinyl. Just was and rinse and it's done. I was getting gas yesterday and grabbed a paper towel with gas station "window cleaner" to wipe off a bird spot from the hood. Something I'd never even think about on paint. I'm really happy with the vinyl. Pay extra for the good stuff!
