Hi everyone. Hope someone can give some insight. I've owned several Mustangs since I was a teenager. Always had GTS light covers. So this isn't my first rodeo with these things. However I got a set for my 12 mustang and they really don't want to go on. I pop the hood the top piece goes on but the bottom has two rubber things that do not want to fit in between the bumper and headlight. Anyone else have issues with these?

I use to have them but were a pain. I also lost a few here and there when they would pop off on highway speeds or someone would steal them of my car. I resorted to doing the vinyl black out stickers for a fraction of the price. I bought an entire pre cut black out set for all the exterior lights on my car for 34.00 on Ebay last year. They were easy to apply and no longer have a hassle of falling off or getting stolen. I know I didnt answer your question but maybe something to consider if your having issues.

Thanks for your reply. I did manage to get them on but they do not fit like the old ones on my 92 GT etc. If they fly off or get stolen I may resort to the tint.
