the European/RoW Mustang gets clear taillight lenses, because the turn signals have to be amber. therefore it also doesn't have the sequential function.

Damn that sucks. Hopefully not a sign of things to come. It is interesting that it would only qork with certain commands instead of just not working at all.

Could be as simple as a defective bulb.

i think they are LED and not serviceable, good for a $700-800 part if it was not under warranty. since they switched to LED lighting, the cost of lamps has gotten out of control. for instance, if i took a bat to the mirrors and headlights/tail lights of a platinum F150, the total cost of replacing just the lights and mirrors would be more than $4600 using OE parts

The dealership fixed it likety-split. I had the car back in less than 24 hours. Disappointing that the flagship Mustang was in for something like that with under 100 miles on the clock but no big deal in the grand scheme of things. They apparently took the assembly apart and put it back together - didn't replace any parts - and voila it works. Hopefully that's the end of that issue.

Took the car for a 150 loop around East San Diego County (Sunrise Highway!) and holy cow WHAT A CAR. It's an animal. I love it. I really liked my 2015 GT PP but the GT350 is just that much more. The engine is otherworldly - the sounds it makes are incredible. I love this car.

My only question: Take off the stripes? It is Oxford White with the blue stripes. I'm not a "racing stripes kind of guy." I prefer a little less obnoxious appearance. What do say? I think I'm going to have them removed.
