hey speed, is the mobile guardian system an aftermarket unit? kind of
confused, because it looks like ford did the repair....thanks

Battery Problem Fixed! It turns out that the Mobile Guardian System was drawing more milliamps than necessary during a 12 hr cycle causing the battery to slowly discharge. They had to replace the analog sensor with a digital one so that the current would draw at an acceptable level. A bonus to this is now I get a bunch of upgraded features that i didn't have to pay for like cell phone mesages when car is tampered with etc.
