Default Keyless/alarm Remote Programming

Anyone have instructions on how to program a remote for a 1996 Mustang GT? Any help would be appreciated.

Default RE: Keyless/alarm Remote Programming

In the trunk on the drivers side behind the trim panel there is a connector with two terminals that isnt connected to anything. It'seither white or a light grey in color. It is taped to the wireing harness that goes to the taillights.Turn your ign to the "Run" or "Acc" position. With a paper clip jumper the connection in the connnector. At this time your locks will respond by locking then unlocking letting you know it is ready for programming. Make sure you have the remote handy cause you will then push any button on the remote. The car will respond by locking then unlocking the doors or just by chirping the horn to let you know it has accepted the remote. Turn the ign to off then remove the jumper wire. Done
