Default Will fully syntentics 5W-20 oil be too thin in summer time?

The V6 uses 5W-30, so there is no problem there. But I'm getting a GT, and will beputting 5W-20 fully synthentics in the V8. Will it be too thin in summer time?

Ford says 5w-20 so if your stock use 5w-20
if the engine is damaged tell ford to fix it
after the first summer you'll know

Thing is... Ford uses synthentics blend, I'll be using fully synthentics which is thinner than blend.

Synthetics handle hot and cold way better than Dino oil.

5w-20 synth at operating temps is the same viscosity as 5w-20 dino at operating temp. One beauty of it is thatsynth is also 5w-20 at freezing temps, while dino oil is molasses. And...supposedly retains it characteristics at higher temps than dino.

It matters not "what" comprises the oil. What matters is the viscosity weight. 5W 20 is 5W 20 regardless if its synthetic or sunflower seed oil. It has been measured and graded at that weight level. Pour points may very but the weight remains.
