DPFE sensor
Hey guys,
I've been having a problem with my 2004 manual v6 bucking when I let off the gas and sometimes almost stalling out when I come to a stop. It seemed to start when i put on my K&N Intake about a month ago but it could just be a coincidence. I thought it might have been my IAC valve soI replaced that and it didn't work. I have cleaned my MAF sensor and it still didnt help. I was thinking maybe it could be a problem with the DPFE sensor or EGR or something. What do you guys think. Any help is appreciated.

If nothing else works, consider re-installing your stock MAF screen (you'll have to be a little creative to do so). I would have said check for vacuum leaks, but you'vedone that already I'm sure.
TheDPFE sensor is said to be a weakness on sn95 Mustangs. I do not know what the symtoms are though of a bad one.

it's turbulence through the MAF. you either need to put a screen infront of the sensor or go back to the stock intake setup
if the screen doesn't work then try a straight filter mount to the MAF. It is a fender CAI correct? the 90 degree bend in CAI's are known to give turbulence at low speeds like at idle or coming up to a stop sign. too much turbulence and the meter gives incorrect fuel air demands and the car stumbles and stalls

symptoms of a bad one are having too much exhaust pressure because all it is. is an exhaust sensor lol i have replaced my dpfe with the new technology black one and the egr valve i replaced as well
