How to remove surface rust from exhaust ??
Hi, my 2004 GT has what appears to be surface rust on the stock tail pipes. I thought these were stainless. Anyway, what is a good method for removing the rust? Steel wool? I've also seen crumpled aluminum foil remove rust. Ideas?

the stuff on the tips just use this it's what I used on my stock tips got to do it a couple times but it works http://www.autogeek.net/eo104.html

the stuff on the tips just use some of that metal wheel cleaner stuff it comes in a little tin and its wooly I can't remember what it is called right now but I will find out that is what I used.

Thanks for the replies. I just got home fomwork and checked the thread. FYI, the rust is on the exhaust pipes, not the tips. I will try some of the Eagle One. I love this place and I love my Stanger!
