i just got my sct tuner and my zex wet kit. My question is i ordered a nitrous tune from american muscle. will i be ok just using the canned nitrous tune they sent me? or is it nececarry to get a dyno tune? i was planning on getting a dyno tune anyway, but in the mean time is it safe to use there tune?

their tune will have ur timing set up, if you set itback down to at least -2 you should be able to use it, Im not 100 percent sure though

Doesn't matter.....i've seen enough nitrous cars tuned to know that you need a custom tune if you plan on them running well and living long. [8D]

Def. get a dyno tune. Canned tunes arent worth the hassle.

Always get a dyno tune when adding any kind of power adder just for safety. If nothing else have it on a dyno to have a wideband check.

Throw it on the dyno and do a couple of pulls with a/f check.. If it seems to check out fine, then you'll be ok..

You don't even have to get a dyno to check a/f. Go to a local garage you know and they probably have a Snap-On Live Diagnostic tool they can hook up for you. It reads all that stuff. They might be able to set your timing back, not too sure though. They only charge a 1 hour minimun and it should take 20min. topps. So for $75 you can sleep at night
