Default 4.6 to 5.0 swap

Is there a write up on how to do this into a 99-04 mustang?
My dad found a 302 crate motor with 1k miles on it and its in good runningorder they want 700 for itand we were wondering how hard it would be to install in the new edge.

The sn95's had 5.0's so I'm assumingit would be very easy

I would be taking a 5.0 engine and be putting it into a mustang between 1999-2004

yea the sn95 bodystyle is the new edge with just a newer body. so the k member from a 94 or 95 gt should go in.

k member and motor mountsare different because the 4.6 is wider( at least thats what i was told by a shop), but i cant imagine it would be a hard swap

dont plan on passing emissons

It is, overhead cam engines are huge compared to pushrod motors.

I'm not worried about the emisions I'm in Michian
Heres why I want to know
I can get a old thunderbird with a 302 crate engine (dont know whats done to it )for $700 and I can get a v6 2000 mustang with 160'000 miles for $1800. Me and my dad are either going to put the crate engine in the stang or we can also get a 67 or 68 (forgot)camaro for a grand the thing is the camaros interior engine and body are all seperated. Its all suppose to be ingood condition The people selling it got a divorce and just want it gone so we are go to look at everything tommorow. Decisions Decisions

go for the t-bird and 2000 stang

if its a v6 maybe you wont need to change the kmember. Arent those motors closer to a 5.0 than a mod motor? i honetly know next to nothing about the v6 mustangs, you will need to change the rear though

www.maximummotorsports.com makes a K-member to swap
engines either way -- 5.0's into 4.6's or 4.6's into Foxbody's
Thats the hard part.

Then I would run a Foxbody wiring harness and computer
