1994 5.0 Engine Vibration
Well I was hoping someone here could help without actually looking at the car. I just bought a 1994 Mustang 5.0, 3,500 yay, and I pretty much fixed all that is wrong. But im stuck on one problem. The engine vibrates harcdore, at idle the car is normal no vibrations and smooth, as soon as I get it above 1,000 RPM it vibrates and vibrates even more at higher RPM. Now when I when I rev the engine and when RPM goes down it vibrates the same. People tole me its the hermonic balancer, and some said the cranke is going to hell, as warped and needs bottom end rebuild. What im wondering is, or hopeing is that the hermonic balancer is out but could someone give me advice please?

My 1994 GT had similar problems, but im not sure how extreme your vibrations are. My motor mounts were shot and once i got new ones it was smooth sailing. Its at least worth taking a look at.

RE: 1994 5.0 Engine Vibration
Not to hijack the thread but I have a vibration problem in my 95. The shifter starts vibrating at the top of the rpm range in each gear. There is no vibration if I push in the clutch and rev it but it vibrates if I rev it in neutral with the clutch out. Any insight?
Mustang1994 you should inspect your harmonic balancer. My friend had a vibration problem and when he took a look at the hb it was coming apart. He put a new one on and the vibration was gone. I noticed my balancer was coming apart when i did a cam on it and 2 of my friends have had theirs separate completely.
Thanks- Colin
