Default Dyno results?

The Ecoboost and GT clearly have the spotlight while the V6 seems to be left in the dark. I'd love to see how the 2015 V6 compares to the 2011-2014 in terms of numbers. Does anybody know where I can find dyno results for it? If there even are any? I've skimmed Google and YouTube to no avail.

I'm guessing the results are about the same. I don't think anything changed from the powertrain.

Both are a 3.7L V6, the 5.0 and 2.3T are definitely in the spot light right now.

They'll be exactly the same. Ford wanted to move the 4 bangers so they lowered the horse power rating on the 3.7 because it was to close the to ecoboost numbers. A lot of buyers are going to be drawn to the V6 because of price. It was strictly a marketing move.

You didn't by chance run before mods to get base line numbers did you?

No, I did not. I did a dyno tune after all my parts were already on. Only thing left is to add 3.73s then we wait till warranty is over.

If you are looking for performance, you may want to pass on the V6 and look at the EcoBoost.

We have gotten some impressive results with the 2.3L EcoBoost engine with a CAI kit, catless downpipe and a custom tune. Next up will be a BOV, wastegate, larger turbo and intercooler upgrade when the customer is ready. If the cost to own and operate a GT is too high for you, the EcoBoost may be your best option.

Baseline pull

CAI, downpipe and tune.

Considering you cannot purchase a V6 with any premium options (no leather, no heated/cooled seats, no premium sound, etc), I don't think "spotlight" is the right word for it... Maybe "back door"?
It's sad as it seems Ford is almost trying to "phase out" the V6 option completely. After having test driven both, I'd personally take a V6 over an Ecoboost (if the GT wasn't an option for me).
(As we all know by now) The V6 Cyclone engine is a killer V6 and if Ford slapped a dual-Ecoboost on one it'd be a mini-monster.
