Sorry to get picky but as long as you wanted to be picky... a traditional muscle car was a MID-sized 2-door with a large (full-sized) V8.

Unfortunately, the Mustang (and similar fast cars) have been tagged as a muscle car lately so its use is not out of common language.

My post is opinion based on trends. There will come a day the V8 is phased out and unavailable due to CAFE standards. Technology and turbo/superchargers will push 4 and 6 cylinder engines to where normally aspirated V8s are currently. Ford knows where the trend is going. The new GT has a 600hp 3.5 liter Ecoboost V6 with twin-turbo chargers. If some articles are correct it looks like tuners have gotten the ecoboost into the high 12s. Smaller forced induction engines are the future.

I have a 4 liter V-6 in my 2005 and and a 3.7 liter in my 2014.

I love both of them. Rock solid motors.

Glad you got a laugh. It's healthy. No way to delete/edit if you prematurely post before you are finished. Weird.

I'm pretty sure it's one of those crazy you don't have enough posts yet thing, give it time and you will be able to edit, but not delete posts.
Also just be very careful when clicking the post button, as double posts are very easy to do.
