Default 2014 DIB 3.7 w/ sport shift "Blue Cyclone"

Lot of coastal Texas Cyclones, why would you say you can't mod a V6? Look at my sig. & I am just getting started, best mod yet for me, 1-piece drive shaft aluminum 3.5" DSS

Yes, the '14s you can mod all day. The '15s however, have very little you can mod, hence the statement about not being able to mod a v6. He's not talking about previous gen Mustangs.

I stand corrected, or "time" will tell. The 2016 Camaro is coming hard!

maybe that's because the S197 was around for 10 years, while we're just partway into the second model year for S550. It's a very different car.

Smile Love my V6

Just got a 2016 V6 with 051A and AT. Love it!! Fast enough for me. Nice wheels (retro), and I had the lower rear valance and rear deck lip painted black, blacked out the rear window and rear quarter glass (15%), and changed the exhaust tips to double walls. Doesn't look like a fleet V6 anymore.

And I am having fun every time I get in it. Perfect car for me. I will be adding some other mods/upgrades and plan to keep this for a long time.

I had a Thunderbird Turbo Coupe years ago, and a 95 T-bird LX V8 that screamed! And this V6 is just as fast, maybe faster. And faster than my Z28 too. All in all a perfect fit for me - balancing cost, performance, and fuel efficiency. Most important, my wife likes it too. She actually made the call to buy for me. Like it was her idea. I'll keep them both for a long time.

But there's no way that I will spit on any Mustang because it's not the one I choose.
When even Consumer Reports complains about the "tinny" sound of the Ecoboost, you know it's very noticeable.

I'm with you on this. Five years from now, when those EcoBoosts that are new today are throwing vanes into the cylinders, the V6 may look like a brilliant choice.

I just saw an article this week on putting a supercharger on a V6. Can't think where it was, now. Maybe Hot Rod? Maybe from ProCharger? Can't find it right now.
