With the EPA standards that we have today, Im pretty confident to say that the V6 has a lot left in it. Its DOHC, TiVCT.. That has a ton of potential. I wouldn't say 320-330 RHWP but maybe 300 RWHP with bolt ons is most likely attainable easily.
Just bought the 2011 v-6, nothing more depressing than being on a straight-away and hitting around 110 in 4th and the engine cuts in and out. Does anyone know how to remove the speed limiter

I wish there was a cheaper way because right now the only way is by going to a tune shop and paying $800-1400 for a Dyno Tune... since mail order tunes aren't yet available from places like Bama tuning.
So Ford makes a 305 HP V6 Mustang with a speedometer that registers 150 mph and then puts a 110 mph limiter on the damn thing. Genius. What's the point in buying it over the 4.0 V6 at this point? Sure you can hit 60 mph faster but we all know how easy it his to hit 110 mph in the 210 hp Mustang much less the 305 hp model. Basically you hit 110 and a second or so later you're cruising with the 4.0 Mustang right next to you because of it. lol They should have at least put slightly better tires on the car and limitied it at say 130 mph.

thats what the performance pack does.... give you better tires then raises the speed limiter on the car to 140 ish. ford is just giving people options.
